Dr. Faik Oruçoğlu (Orucov) studied and made his residency in Turkey until 2003. After graduating he went to do fellowships in Hadassah University Hospital in the Department of Ophthalmology, a Clinical Fellow in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery with Prof. Joseph Frucht-Pery from Jerusalem-ISRAEL.
He also did Laboratory research on drug delivery into the eye, with an interest in the field of Pharmacokinetics and clinical applications of iontophoresis. Dr Orucov is also a member of the Turkish American Ophthalmic Society (TAOS) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and other 12 distinguished medical associations. He participated in over 70 specialty and non-specialty congresses and presented his expertise in over 100 locations, in Turkey, USA and worldwide. Dr. Faik Oruçoğlu (Orucov) hold a patent on the Intracuring; Flattening of cornea curvature and published the specialty book "Atlas of Cornea and Ocular Surface".
